PALCO is the official Transit Service and Customs Clearance Agency for the Havana International Fair.

The Organizing Committee will not be responsible for transportation, handling, customs clearance, etc of those goods imported to the Fair through other agencies, which should previously register to give their services during the Fair. Information about cost of registration and car passes is available at PABEXPO.

 

Customs Regulations

The exhibitor is to:

-          Comply with Customs Regulations.

-          Supply any requested information.

-          Request previous authorization to move goods in exhibition before, during and after the even ends.

 -          To submit request of Supplies and Promotion items to Customs Office for approval. It should be done within 72 hours before the celebration of the event.

-         TST from Customs up to Fairgrounds and Exhibitions will pay 40 CUC per each operation. In the case of re-exportation Customs TST will also be used but free of charge.

-          Goods imported as accompanying luggage will be processed through the Simplified Declaration Procedure and will not use the services of the Customs Agency. Required documents can be requested to the Organizing Committee. Re-exportation will only be allowed as non-accompanied luggage or as cargo.

 -          In the case of nationalized Goods and National Goods, it is the very exhibitor who will deliver the Goods List to Customs for approval. Goods that have not been approved are forbidden to be exhibited in the Halls.

-          The exhibitor is absolutely forbidden to sell goods authorized for exhibition.

 -          Once the event has finished, the exhibitor has 30 calendar days to formalize the status of goods in the Customs Office.  They can be declared as per the corresponding modality. If, after this term, the procedure has not been undergone, the goods are to be declared as legally abandoned in the benefit of the Cuban State, within a 48 hours term. There is no administrative appeal in these cases. It is the Customs Office authority to issue an extension, or not, after the 30 calendar days have passed, given the case a request has been presented previous to the end of the term

 In the cases the goods are processed through other forwarding agencies, they should be registered to provide their services during the Fair. All related information about prices of Accreditation and Access cards to the Fairgrounds can be obtained at Pabexpo Fairgrounds.

 

CUSTOM AGENCIES OFFERING SERVICES AT THE FAIR

Custom agencies offering their services to Exhibitors must be aware of the following regulations:

Pay the Admission Fee of $50.00 CUC for each member of staff attending the Fair Pay $10.00 CUC per vehicle as Access to the fairgrounds Notify the Organizing Committee with the list of exhibiting companies they service and pavilion location. Notify the Organizing Committee names of staff members servicing exhibiting companies Hours of service are between 9AM and 5PM Request the Organizing Committee for office space and lifting equipment if necessary. Charges apply
